Autumn Love 03:04
Seasons change Winter days, with my autumn love My autumn love Would you bury me in your heart If I got nowhere, nowhere to go Would you bury me in your heart If I got nowhere, nowhere to go
2.
Pointless days Dreaming of the past My twisted faith Life is in your hands I say whatever I want to say I do whatever I want to do I go wherever I want to go It’s all for you The birds will wake before me The morning sun will rise Never ever change me A truth behind a lie No more lies within me All of us is gone So you came to see me In a crowded room Performing with my suffering I never wanted this Performing with my suffering It’s all for you The birds will wake before me The morning sun will rise Never ever change me A truth behind a lie
3.
Remember when we were young Remember we didn’t hear the church bells Remember the days were long Remember the troubles, they had yet to come Remember when we were free And the chains weren’t holding me down When we were young Remember when we were young Remember we didn’t hear the church bells Remember the days were long Remember the sorrow had yet to come Remember us wild and free And these ghosts weren’t haunting me When we were young Remember when we were free And the chains weren’t holding me down When we were young When we were young

Standing by the river It’s been a crazy day I wish that I was drowning The water is calling out my name What has been rotten here? Is it my heart that made you disappear? You packed your bags Out of here Far away Everything is changing Only shadows around here Where did all the love go? Where are you now? What has been rotten here? Is it my heart that made you disappear? You packed your bags Out of here Far away

Lost My Twin 04:36
There’s a funeral party Upstairs in my house I’ve lost a shadow Right about now, right now Your hands like mine Your eyes like mine You have died And so have I, so have I I’ve lost my twin I’ve lost my twin Don’t you know that you can make me whole again Please forgive me I take some parts And keep them here What’s the difference? There is no difference Your fingers, I’ll keep them in my pocket Your hair, I’ll put some in my wallet You’ll always be here Always be here I’ve lost my twin I’ve lost my twin Don’t you know that you can make me whole again I’ve lost my twin I’ve lost my twin Don’t you know that you can make me whole again I’ve lost my twin I’ve lost my twin Don’t you know that you can make me Feel whole again I’ve lost my twin I’ve lost my twin Never will I feel whole again
6.
Maria 03:30
Do you remember? You’ve travelled far I’ve counted hours In this bar You’ve seen so much You’ve left me here Do you remember? It’s been a year Maria, don’t make this difficult Maria, can’t we forget the world And be who we were And your party dress I bet you use it still You’re loving someone else But I never will This is your place But you forgot I’ve cried a tear But you did not Maria, don’t make this difficult Maria, can’t we just forget the world And be who we were

Christine 04:44
Perfect moments They aren’t forever They carry on Like stormy weather You had to leave You had to be Somewhere else tonight Tonight I can’t believe what you said to me I can’t believe what you did Christine, no one said it was easy Did anything to please me Christine Christine, there’ a time and a place for everything A perfect year will come My Christine I was I could take back what’s mine I hope that I can change the way you feel in time Christine, no one said it was easy Did anything to please me My Christine Christine, there’ a time and a place for everything A perfect year will come My Christine Don’t bring me flowers anymore I can’t take care of anything And I try not to be selfish anymore Exactly what you were hoping for Christine, no one said it was easy Did anything to please me My Christine Christine, there’ a time and a place for everything A perfect year will come For my Christine No one said it was easy No one said it was easy…
8.
I still feel messed up From what you did to me I can not find a reason Why you wanted to be free I gave you all I could give And nothing, nothing less I gave you reasons to live Right now I am a mess Reminds me of the pain Sunday summer rain All we’ve had, in vain Sunday summer rain I couldn’t make you stay Sunday summer rain Reminds me of the pain Sunday summer rain I will always be alone So many years go by Still not over you Summer rain still makes me cry Reminds me of the pain Sunday summer rain All we’ve had, in vain Sunday summer rain I couldn’t make you stay Sunday summer rain Reminds me of the pain Sunday summer rain
9.
Stay Alive 05:53
Can you hear me calling? Outside, through the storm Is your heart still beating? In the snow Stay alive, stay alive We’ve got nowhere to go Stay alive, stay alive Hidden under the snow Stay alive, stay alive We’ve got nowhere to go Stay alive, stay alive Hidden under the snow
10.
In My Heart 04:16
I met you back in summer We’ve spent a day or two You came around to see me I’m still not over you I can’t keep up with your ways I can’t keep up if you’re moving on I can’t be here any day Still not over you In my heart, I really wanted you I don’t care what they say I really wanted you But I know that we’ll never make it through You’re always on the run I really wanted you If I knew what was on your mind Most of the time I don’t know where you are now You’re always on the road Tell me how long it’s been now Will I ever get another chance? I can’t keep up with the things you do I can’t go wherever you go It never will be right Still not over you In my heart, I really wanted you I don’t care what they say I really wanted you But I know that we’ll never make it through You’re always on the run I really wanted you If I knew what was on your mind Most of the time In my heart, I really wanted you I don’t care what people say I really wanted you But I know it’s time to face up the truth I don’t know what I should do I am wanting you I am wanting you
11.
Leave Me 08:26
I want you to go away I want you to just move on There ain’t much I have to say You know I’ve been waiting for too long And I’ve waited for a day A day that never comes All the promises you make They always turn out wrong Leave me, leave me, leave me, leave me I’ve waited long enough for you to change I want you to go away I want you to just fuck off There ain’t much I have to say Don’t you know I’ve had enough I want you to go away I want you to not look back What are you waiting for? I can’t change you anymore Leave me, leave me, leave me, leave me I’ve waited long enough for you to change Leave me, leave me, leave me, leave me Time to go our separate ways Come on and leave me ‘Cause I can’t let you go But do not want this either So, you’ve got to let this end Come on and leave me Leave me, leave me, leave me, leave me I’ve waited long enough for you to change Leave me, leave me, leave me, leave me Time to go our separate ways Come on and leave me Leave me

about

"A Perfect Year Will Come" is the most personal and intimate record Blue Funeral has ever made. The album is the follow up to “Thoughts of the Damned” (2010) and “The Darkness Waits For Me” (2011). The album cover photo was taken by German artist Marina Refur (photo originally titled “Journey of the Sleepwalker”).

Blue Funeral started in 2007 and released the first EP “Fast Or Slow” in 2009. A year later Blue Funeral released the album “Thoughts Of The Damned”, including “Better Off Dead”, “Love Will Be The Crime” and “Few Regrets”. The album got positive reviews and good radio airplay in various countries. A year later the album “The Darkness Waits For Me” was released. Radio Dunkle Welle (dunklewelle.de) made Blue Funeral “featured artist of the month” and the song “Winter Tears” has peaked at number-one on the Radio Dunkle Welle chart for several weeks.

Recordings for the new album began in September 2011. Most songs were written on the piano and recorded the same way. Therefore, this is probably the only Blue Funeral album that can be performed live as a one-man act. “Sunday Summer Rain” is the album’s lead single and was released as download-only in March 2012.

The album is also available as a hard copy cd (limited) at www.soundsforsure.eu
